A Final Anchorage

It has known the fury of the Iroise. Moonless nights off the Pointe du Raz, sudden squalls that bend the ribs of a hull, the short brutal swell that breaks men as much as timber. This trawler has worked. Hard. Now it has set itself down here, on the shingle of Camaret harbour, the way you put down a burden carried too long. The split hull lets the light through — or perhaps the opposite is true, perhaps it still holds a little of that sea light that accompanied it for decades. The sky hasn’t finished grumbling. It never does,…

Description

The print process
How each print is made

I print every photograph myself, in my studio, on a professional archival inkjet printer. I use pigment inks on heavyweight Fine Art paper — the same materials used in museum-quality production. No outsourcing, no compromise on colour accuracy.

Each print is checked by hand before shipping. It is then signed in pencil on the front, numbered (e.g. 2/5), and packaged flat between protective boards. A certificate of authenticity accompanies every order.

Shipping & delivery

Prints are shipped worldwide from Brittany, France. Each order is carefully packed flat in a rigid protective envelope to ensure the print arrives in perfect condition.

Shipping times vary by destination — typically 5 to 10 business days within Europe, and 10 to 20 days for the rest of the world. Tracking is provided for all orders. If your print arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and contact me within 48 hours — I will make it right.

FAQ

Why only 5 prints?
Because scarcity is part of what makes a print meaningful. I believe that a photograph gains value when it exists in the world in limited form. Five is a deliberate choice — enough to reach a few homes, rare enough to matter in each of them.

Can I request a custom size?
Not at the moment. The A3+ format is the only edition I produce. It has been chosen to balance quality, handling, and price.

Do you frame the prints?
Prints are sold unframed. A3+ works beautifully in a standard A3+ frame with a white mat — available from most framing suppliers.

Is the certificate of authenticity included?
Yes. Every print ships with a signed certificate stating the title of the work, the edition number, the format, the date of production, and my signature.

What if I’m not happy with my purchase?
If you are not satisfied, contact me within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns are accepted for prints that have not been framed or mounted, provided they are returned in their original packaging.
